Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Feels like the concluding chapter it is, with neatly tied loose ends and closing remarks, though it unfolds as something of a secular passion play. – Manohla Dargis, New York Times, Oct 29, 2010

Rotten: Expunging the cliches, coincidences, flat dialogue and dull exposition will present a challenge for director David Fincher as he begins to remake the films in Hollywood. – Kyle Smith, New York Post, Oct 29, 2010

Rotten: An overgenerous helping of recapitulation, a long procedural that's more about Lisbeth's persecutors and protectors than about her. – Joe Morgenstern, Wall Street Journal, Oct 29, 2010

Fresh: One of the knottiest, talkiest tangles of celluloid to roll into theaters this year. – Amy Biancolli, Houston Chronicle, Oct 29, 2010

The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest

Swedish or English, subtitled or not. These movies are very true to the books and cliff hangers to the very end. Very enjoyable, even if you have to read the subtitles outloud to those who can't keep up. Well worth watching; guaranteed to make you say "WOW!!". The tragedy is that the books/movies end here; there should have been 10, but the author's death precluded that. Enjoy these!

People need to stop complain.

This is an awesome movie and the subtitles are no problem at all!
For people who complain about the subtitles it clearly states that:

Language: Swedish
Subtitles: English (Always On)

If you annoyed that it is not spoken english then wait for the american version that is out Dec. 2011.
Anyway it is a really good movie and worth watching.

Some people make Peter Griffin seem like Einstein

There are very clearly two versions of this Swedish film on iTunes; Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest and Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest (Dubbed)...perhaps that's not a big enough clue for some people !
