Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Hard Candy is an exploitation film, with very little happening but a guy getting tortured for about 75 minutes of screen time.
Fresh: ... a revolting piece of work.
Fresh: Hard Candy is tantalizing, brutal, fetishistic, gripping and exhausting, with plenty of moments for movie patrons to shout advice at the screen.
Fresh: It's cinematic S&M, a bondage-control game masquerading as a thriller.

THANK YOU iTUNES!
This is one of the best films I've ever seen. Ellen Page delivers an amazing performance, it was hard watching Juno without thinking of her psychopathic character in this movie. It's intense and terrifying, and even though most of it is dialouge between Hayley (Page) and Jeff (Patrick Wilson), it's never boring and provides non-stop entertainment throughout the entire film. Check it out!
An artistic film.
Thank you iTunes for puting such an amazing film. It's so amazing how the whole movie takes place in one house with only two characters. The whole time, there is dialouge which is much more difficult than any other type of acting since the audience is only focused on the words coming from the actor's mouths. It is really painful to watch the film since the dialouge is so intense and the emotions are so real. If you are into real acting and a serious film, watch it. If you are just watching it for Ellen Page, don't do it; you won't appreciate it.
The Ultimate Irony!
The perfect movie to scare anyone into abstinence!!! Seriously though a great film that needs to be seen. Ellen Page gives a much more powerful perfomance than she made in Juno. Creepy and suspenseful as sentence after sentence given brings a whole new element to the story. Great movie!!!
