Plot Summary
Everyone knows the story of Little Red Riding Hood...or so they think. That's all about to change because no one has ever seen their favorite fairy tale quite like this -- turned upside-down, inside-out and reinvented as a computer-animated caper comedy that at last reveals the shocking true-crime investigation behind the legend. At last, the full story can be revealed of how Red (Anne Hathaway), Granny (Glenn Close), The Woodsman (Jim Belushi) and the Wolf (Patrick Warburton) all came together as criminal suspects in a case that almost "Hoodwinked" the law. With inventive story telling, spunk and wit, filmmakers Cory & Todd and Tony Leech bring to the screen a story for the young, the young at heart and everyone in between.

Rotten: Offers a few laughs but overall is pretty tired.
Rotten: It takes place in a fantasy world whose cheaply rendered surfaces resemble Teletubbieland reupholstered with Naugahyde.
Fresh: While it doesn't exactly break new ground, the movie is fast-paced and delivers lots of laughs aimed at both kids and adults, as well as some lively Looney Tunes-style action.
Fresh: Hoodwinked may be a poor cousin to the Shrek franchise, but this made-on-the-cheap computer-animated feature still has more style and snarky gags than Disney's recent CG hit, Chicken Little.

How come with some movie's (for example, this one,) you can only buy/rent them? Why don't you have the choice of both for ALL movies?
Clever and Different
This movie was so much fun to watch! I didn't realize how many big named actors and actresses played the voices of the characters in this movie! It was creative, funny, witty and very well done. Its a movie the whole family can watch and enjoy!
When
Hoodwinked is an marvelous, entertaining animation. Grandmom "rocks" in this fiim. My 2 pre- schoolers & toddler watched HW several times before it expired. The story has many teachable momments that can be used during family time. My only complaint is why can't the movie be purchased? It's a keeper!
