Plot Summary
Two-time Academy Award® winner Meryl Streep, Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin star in this hilarious look at marriage, divorce and everything in between. Jane (Streep) has three grown kids, a thriving Santa Barbara bakery and an amicable relationship with her ex-husband, Jake (Baldwin). Now, a decade after their divorce, an innocent dinner between Jane and Jake turns into the unimaginable - an affair. Caught in the middle of their rekindled romance are Jake’s young wife and Adam (Martin), a recently divorced architect who starts to fall for Jane. Could love be sweeter the second time around? Fresh: It's Complicated unleashes an unabashedly, desperately romantic side of Baldwin that we haven't seen before. He doesn't steal this movie so much as grant all Streep's fluttering and twirling and hand-fanning an exuberant counterweight.
Rotten: Actually, Hollywood, it's very simple: If you're lucky enough to rope pros like Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin into a formulaic comedy that's clearly beneath them, you rise to the occasion.
Fresh: Streep's dilemma is handled well enough for the movie to accumulate some gravitas as it nears the two-hour mark.

Great Movie, Even for us Deployed Soldiers
Oh man, a group of us guys here on deployment went to see this at our little theater here, and this was one of our highlights here this year. Great movie.
Better Than I Thought It Would Be!!!
I saw this movie not once but twice and it is a great movie to enjoy,funny,romantic, and very clever. This movie is clearly one of Meryl's best! its NOT complicated, BUY THIS!!!
Amazing, Period.
This movie is beyond a good comedy. It makes you think about life, marriage, divorce and everything in between. Very sexy move with three Amazing actors.
