Evokes a range of emotions
I am about 30 min in. It didn't capture me right away. It took a few minutes for me to feel strong emotion and empathy. But once you start to see how bizarre both the families and the "liaisons" are treating these harmless children (so far these are truly harmless kids), it becomes a whole different movie.
Highly recommended to those who are in the mood for a documentary that makes the viewer think. This is not entertainment.
And lm not a documentary snob. I like them all. For me it's a mood thing. Sometimes it's nice just to be entertained. Sometimes I like getting emotionally involved with the story. This is the latter type of doc.
