Must see for any video game fan
Most movies about video games have a tendency to have a stereotype of being really poorly produced, but this is one of those rare movies that is great. Heck, I was watching it in my room and had a friend come by who has no interest in video games, and she even sat down and watched it. It is a great movie about the struggle that goes on with competitive gaming and world records. It is slightly out of date, but you can just head to Wikipedia to find out the current status of the high score. I would recommend this to anyone who loves video games or is interested in world records or just a good movie in general.
Solid Movie
I first saw this movie on G4 TV and it was a fun watch. This movie is not ment to entertain the masses, this movie focuses on a certain type of movie watcher. I don't know exactly what kind of people should watch, but I do know that if you enjoy classic video games and a heart warming story. This is the movie for you!!!
Watch this documentary... watch it now!
After watching this movie I had a hard time believing that it could have actually happened, but after some research am inclined to believe it did.
What you expect is a bunch of nerds with too much time on their hands, but instead you're treated to an almost Shakespearean tale of courage, perseverance, deceit, betrayal, etc... Almost everyone in the documentary is instantly memorable, from the jedi-like father figure of the referee to the sinister, self-confident 'villain'.
