Fresh: With a pace and cinematic language openly inspired by Charlie Chaplin, it's as much a riff on silent movies as it is a coming-of-age tale with a whiff of political farce.
Rotten: Though commendably attentive to Chaplin-esque pantomime on the part of lead villain Jackie Earle Haley, this cinematic anomaly falls flat as a stand-alone.
Rotten: Louis may superficially resemble movies of a bygone age, but it lacks their essence: masterful effortlessness.

Get it together people. The rotten tomatoes rating and link are to a modern 2010 film which appears to be about louis Armstrong.
Total fail on iTunes behalf. louis ck on the other hand is comic genius--like a mind running at 110% with no filter at all. Absolute brilliance.

Louis doing an amazing job, keeping it fresh like the powerhouse comedian he is. Hilarious is worth the buy since everyone who saw the Comedy Central special really missed out. They cut about 40 min of footage! Thank goodness for itunes. Many of the best bits were cut from the television special, and now we can all enjoy his greatness in original form.
