Fresh: Love Actually is irresistible.
Rotten: There are no fewer than nine interlocking and overlapping love stories in Richard Curtis' deadly epic sprawl of a romantic comedy, Love Actually. By the end of the movie, that's nine too many.
Fresh: All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie until, in the end, it went somewhat bonkers with what amounted to a communal love fest on Christmas Eve.
Fresh: There's enough that's right about Love to compensate for what's wrong with it.

Not a cheesy moment to be found
This is one of my all time favorite "romantic" comedies. It's smart, well written, well acted, and is anything but a clone in the romance genre. It follows about eight different sets of people in their various quests for quite different kinds of relationships and love, and not all are your usual couples. There are kids, older folks, gays, straight couples, funny moments, and sad. The actors are all fantastic, and the roles are diverse, but the laughs are non-stop, and the warmth you feel is minus all the usual "cheese". One of the most unique movies I've ever seen. Highly recommended.
One of My All Time Favorites
I was hoping that Itunes would eventually have this movie on it's list. If you are looking for a lovely Christmasy movie to lift your spirits, then Love Actually is the movie for you. The the seven intertwining love stories have something for those who enjoy is sappy, sweet, and sad.... I highly reccomned this movie!
Finally!
Absolutely one of the greatest movies ever made! A must-see, if there ever was one! I watch this at least every couple months, it's that good. Still love the line from Bill Nighy's character about Britney Spears.
