Plot Summary
On August 7th 1974, a young Frenchman named Philippe Petit stepped out on a wire illegally rigged between New York World Trade Center's twin towers. After nearly an hour dancing on the wire, he was arrested, taken for psychological evaluation, and brought to jail before finally being released. This documentary incorporates Petit's footage to show the numerous extraordinary challenges he faced in completing the artistic crime of the century.

an incredibly inspiring, inspiring surprise....
I had no idea what I was in for with this one. This is a documentary about something artfully rebellious. it's about being vital and facing one's fears/ joys every day with a smile of appreciation for being given the chance to do so. it's about being incredibly cool and real at the same time. it's description by i-tunes is very misleading and boring. this is about greatness.... a true, overtly, subtle, grand, understated greatness combined with a somehow impishly dignified beauty! it's also a love story at times. it's about truly being a star (both within and without). It's tastefully done because the subjects in it are tasteful. It's a little draggy to start off because it's all leading up to one act... but stick with it and pay attention. once you understand the scale of the matter you can vicariously come into contact with the great mystery of being and this will move you on many levels... be patient and you will get something priceless from this documentary which will likely be as overlooked as the incredible actions taking place in it.... but hopefully not.
Interesting
We watched this in English class, and it was really good. I reccomend this, but the subltitles go really fast. It is an amazing story
Worth to rent
I really liked that movie. Normally, I dont really like to watch documentary but this one really impressed me. However, I don't think its a movie that I would watch two times. So its better to rent it than to buy it.
