Plot Summary
Leftist comedian Margaret Cho issues another salvo in her ongoing battle to laugh intolerant conservatives out of power in this performance documentary. Recorded during two dates during Cho's 2005 standup tour, Margaret Cho: The Assassin Tour features the acerbically funny comic discussing such subjects as the ongoing battle over gay marriage, the 2004 presidential election, the presidency of George W. Bush, the Terri Schiavo case, possible upsides of being raised in a restrictive culture, her mother's recent heart attack, and what happened when she was unexpectedly booked to entertain a Republican activist group. Margaret Cho: The Assassin Tour was the fourth concert film from the popular humorist.

Fresh: Anyone who can compare Reagan's funeral to Weekend at Bernie's and John Kerry to an Ent, one of Tolkien's talking trees, deserves an audience on both sides of the aisle.
Rotten: Inspiration is running thin in comedian Margaret Cho's fourth concert film, a routine stand-up set that compares poorly to her oft-hilarious first two.
Rotten: Her embrace of controversial political topics might be welcome if her jokes weren't so predictable.
Rotten: Much of this feels like pandering to her liberal audience, as she approaches subjects like reproductive and gay rights without offering many new -- or funny -- observations.

Margaret Cho is like chicken soup for the soul!
Cho never ceases to amaze me. - "England is where white people... begin the whitening process." Cho is one of those rare gem comics that is the perfect balance between not too mainstream and not too out there. She is smart, with it, and delivers jokes on all levels seemingly simultaneously. This is a must see. Love it!!

Margaret Cho Is back at again with another brilliant comedy starring... her. Margaret Cho's stand up comedy is better then watching the food network while eating food. Her jokes have amazing punchilnes witha few punches within them. Margaret Cho never fails to dissapoint.
