Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: 100 percent goo.
Rotten: Martian Child would like to be About a Boy (Who Thinks He's a Martian), but, disappointingly, it doesn't even come close.
Rotten: It's off in many directions -- false in its details, false in its relationships, false in its emotions -- but probably the first and worst thing that needs to be said about it is that it's also overlong and dull.
Rotten: One soggy slab of sentimental uplift.

Rotten tomatoes has it wrong
This is a great predictable story. I don't mind hearing it again as long as the cast and soundtrack are perfect!
what is wrong with rotten tomatoes
I love this movie!! saw it four... no five times.
Incredible Performances
I found this to be a endearing movie. The Martian had me wondering about his true identity right up to the end. Parents and the mental health community always spew how 'resilient' children are and this movie suggests otherwise. The Critics missed the real message of this movie and I am glad I didn't base my viewing of this movie on their reveiws.
