Rotten: evoted fans of the game, and especially of LeBron James, will love More Than a Game. The skeptical and the curious may find themselves wanting more.
Fresh: More Than a Game is a documentary, but it's every inch a triumph-of-the-underdogs fairy tale.
Fresh: It's an inspiring tale not just for lovers of basketball, although the games featured are so thrilling and tense that it's a challenge to remain sitting placidly in one's seat.
Fresh: It's always risky to mix sports metaphors, but it's hard to resist the notion that the basketball-themed More Than a Game is a knockout of a sports documentary.

More Than a Game
Though I do not watch a lot of sports-this documentary was excellent. It follows a group of young men who played basketball together culminating in a string of championship wins in high school against all controversies and odds.
An important theme was dedication, friendship, and teamwork while facing these insurmountable odds; and being coached and mentored by a dedicated and selfless person, who was a also a father figure for some of these kids. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who desires to see an inspirational documentary that will make you feel elated after watching this well-made program.
worth every penny
