Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: Make no mistake, this movie is a mess. But, wow, what a mess!
Fresh: Despite the movie's dark humor, violence and the occasional nonvoluntary facial surgery that will drive away the queasy, Once Upon a Time in Mexico is the most crowd-pleasing film in the series.
Rotten: A movie with that many freaks and creeps should be a lot more exciting than this one actually is.
Fresh: A heady mix of Tarantino-esque pulp.

FINALLY!!!
Great film. Great actor : Johnny Depp. Must see for any Depp fan. Buy it, you know you want to. I enjoyed it...but then again, I am a 14 year old girl...not the most reliable source considering I just watch everything with Jonny Depp in it. Just watch it, you'll like it, i think!!!
This Movie Has A History
I was reading the reviews for this movie, and I just had to comment. Sure, this movie is fairly goofy and over-the-top, but you have to watch the previous two to understand the logic of this movie (El Mariachi & Desperado). The plot lines (with a few exceptions) don't continue so much as repeat. Robert Rodriguez basically re-made "El Mariachi" three times. I guess this time he felt like he got it right. While I am not so sure of this ("Desperado" is the classic out of the three), this movie still has plenty to offer. For fans of "Sin City" and "Grindhouse", this movie is interesting if for no other reason than that it is interesting to see Rodriguez develop as a film-maker. He's a lot like Tarantino, but with a bigger heart and a broader sense of humor. You should check all of his stuff out, he is the real deal. I look foward to what he has coming up.
Depp is the man.
Depp, is classic as always. Are you a mexican or mexi can't? Rent it, buy it, enjoy it!
