Bringing back the fun of documentaries

SO GOOD!

This movie blew me away, not in content because you have to assume marketing bosses are skeezy- but Morgan Spurlock is once again funny, informative, and doesn't take himself or these people too seriously. It is a great time- def worth the money!

To be enjoyed at face value

First, regarding people referencing 'Fat Head' and 'Supersize Me'. The calories mentioned in that rebuttal are a bit light as McDonald's meals seem to have more calories in their store product, than the numbers supplied by their test kitchen. Anyway, the point of Supersize was to take the effects of eating fast food to an extreme. I've never eaten at any fast food place and thought anything about that was healthy. In fact, years ago, my Doctor said," No more food through a window," meaning drive through fast food. My cholesterol and blood pressure normalized shockingly promptly.

On this movie, it does shed some light on how ridiculous marketing, advertising and the film industry are. Also, more to the point, how you are targeted and sold to in ways beyond what seems sensible, all in the name of moving product. Lastly, every advertiser was 'in' on the joke and in most cases, except 'Mane & Tale' paid money and/or supplied something to participate. Ultimately, it's poking fun at how ridiculous we all are, including Spurlcok. Not a bad thing, especially if we can avoid accepting it as an absolute.
