Plot Summary
Remy (Jude Law) and Jake (Forest Whitaker) are best friends and The Union's most dangerous repossession men, reclaiming top-dollar organs when recipients fall behind on their payments. But after an on-the-job accident forces Remy to be outfitted with a top-of-the-line heart replacement, he finds himself in debt and on the run. Now, the hunter becomes the hunted as Jake will stop at nothing to track him down to finish the job.

Rotten: As a recession-era satire, Repo Men strikes a very bitter chord.
Rotten: Why good actors like Forest Whitaker and Liev Schreiber have taken major roles in this wrongheaded effort is perhaps the most compelling question posed by this film.
Rotten: The overused homages and a tacked-on twist ending are just failed attempts to save Repo Men from its own shallow blood lust.
Rotten: Repo Men is a rare film where Toronto plays itself. It's also the first I've ever seen where a typewriter is used as a lethal weapon.

The Ending will make you mad
I thought the movie was dark, cynical, yet optimistict and so I liked it a little. There's also a lot of blood splattered around every 2 minutes. Jude Law and Forest Whitaker were great together. However, I was very upset about how the movie ended and walked out raging. I won't tell you what happens but just trust me when I say that you will be very angry at the ending.
Havn
The theme is a total rip from "Repo! The Genetic Rock Opera" which was, in my oppinion much better due to the musical styling in rock form. Bottom line it's the same movie without the 'killer' solos.
If possible I may just rent it, perhaps It could be an acceptable remake with higher quality gore.
A futuristic buffalo hunt
Haven't seen Forest Whitaker move that fast since Good Morning Vietnam. Jude Law actually played an action role well. Story was graffic so wouldnt let my kids watch it but interresting. Probably the outcome of Obamma-Care.....
