Plot Summary
The original star-studded cast reunites a decade later in this spine-chilling fourth installment of the $300M-grossing Scream franchise. Sydney Prescott (Neve Campbell of THE CRAFT), now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette of NEVER BEEN KISSED) and Gale (Courtney Cox of TV’s FRIENDS), who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts of VALENTINE’S DAY) and her Aunt Kate. Unfortunately Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends (including Hayden Panettiere of TV’s HEROES), and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger. Legendary director Wes Craven (A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET) “guides us expertly down a series of blind, bloody alleys” (Slate Magazine).

Rotten: Like its predecessors, "Scream 4" replaces the values of storytelling and suspense with the value of being in on the joke. Unfortunately, in the 11 years since "Scream 3," the joke has gotten pretty old.
Rotten: Between a diabolically funny start and a surprise climax, Scream 4 offers nothing more than a series of gory deaths that grow tiresome with repetition.
Fresh: On its own terms, Scre4m is pretty good.
Fresh: "Scream 4" is a strange concoction, clever and self-knowing in the extreme and yet operating in primal ways that bypass wit. Something about it feels very modern.

It's Really Good!
SCRE4M overall is a pretty awesome movie! The only thing I didn't like was the twist ending...it just really didn't work at all for me, but I do respect that they tried to do something new.. I will say that this one was definitely better than Scream 3(which sucked) Basically it's typical Scream so if you liked the first three movies you'll probably like this one as well. Hope this review was helpful!:)
Get it please ...
I love it !!!
Awesome!
The feel of this movie is amazing. I feel like Wes Craven gave it his all so that my generation can have a Scream to call it's own. I really hope that Craven makes a 5th and 6th installment because the way he ended this one was so amazingly done and surprising that it would kill me with anxiety to not see it continued. Part of it is because I wasnt to know if Hayden Panettiere's character (Kirby) died. I hope she didn't. She was awesome lol. But yes Craven. Bring more Scream. My only critique would be is to make it a tad-bit scarier. I like jumping in my seat :)
