Plot Summary
In Caracas, the most dangerous city on earth, kidnapping is a profitable and thriving business where gangs target upperclass citizens whose families are able to pay ransoms quickly and quietly. But when Carla (Maestro) and her fiancé are snatched by three brutal thugs, nothing goes as planned in a deadly game where the players must make every move as if it's their last!

Fresh: The unpredictable Secuestro Express is more than just a dizzying thrill ride laced with small doses of pitch-black comic relief.
Fresh: Depicts a nocturnal Caracas with tense energy while gingerly trying not to offend any political group in the current class wars embroiling Venezuela.
Rotten: As social commentary, Secuestro Express doesn't go much further than regurgitating character types (poor little rich girl, thief with heart of gold) and reminding us of Caracas's class differences.
Rotten: Jakubowicz will undoubtedly become a filmmaker to follow, as soon as he understands what he wants to say -- not just how loud he wants to say it.

One of my favorite movies off all time!!
It is rare when you see a movie that has action and content at the same time and this is one of those... A real view of latin america shoot with very unique style. Can't wait to see his next movie "Hands of Stone"
