Plot Summary
Ian has a decision to make: stay a virgin or drive 800 miles to lose it with an online hottie. Decision made. Now Ian (Josh Zuckerman) and his horndog buddy Lance (Clark Duke) are off on a sex safari… with "BFF" baggage Felicia (Amanda Crew) in tow. Their epic quest features a stolen GTO, kinky trailer park sex, a prison fight, topless Abstinence Xtreme dancers, a smartass Amish super-mechanic (Seth Green) and his drunken, boob-flashing friends, a gun-wielding Mexican donut and Ian's "d-bag" brother (James Marsden) in hot pursuit.

Rotten: While it elicits a few laughs, Sex Drive has little to ignite either the comic road-trip genre or the teen-sex romp.
Rotten: Some jokes work, some don't and, frankly, I can't remember either, but it leaves a sweet aftertaste. Slight, but sweet.
Fresh: Sex Drive may slather on the gross-out humor, but underneath it has a heart.
Fresh: The title Sex Drive is a pun about a road trip in search of nooky, but it's also an apt image of what it's like to be a teen guy. You're the car. The stick shift is driving you.

this is actually a great film, pleasantly surprised..
I rented this movie with low expectations. Teen movies have not been as good for the past 5 years for some reason. Most comedies have been falling into the low budget, stupid spoof formula of "Epic Movie/Disaster Movie". This movie was greatly written, with very clever dialogue. Again, I'm impressed. RENT IT!!
BRILLIANT
make sure you watch the regular R-Rated version and not the cream-filled unrated pure BS edition. the normal movie is AMAZING and the other ruins the it completely.
It does what it does
I skipped this in theaters and with good reason. Thats not to say its an un-funny movie. It does what it does. Nothing is subtle. Everything is predictable. Shut your brain off and laugh. Clark Duke and Seth Green are Hilarious in this movie. It is worth a watch.
