Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: The genius of Scorsese's film, which is being shown in IMAX in 93 theaters, is that it reveals the Stones' mortality while celebrating all that makes them more than mere mortals.
Fresh: The music's insistent richness builds and builds, its sound becoming so deep and persuasive that qualms about age fade and the rhythms carry us away.
Fresh: He brings all his skills as a filmmaker to the film, but Scorsese did not achieve the monumental dimensions of his movie from cinematic savoir faire. Shine a Light is huge because the Stones are giants.
Fresh: Regardless of age, they can still rip this joint.

ARE YOU WITH READY.......Ladies and Gentlemen..The Rolling Stones!
To be sure when I went to the IMAX in Seattle to watch the Greatest Rock n Roll Band period, I was amused at the writers who saw one thing.."Age"...as I witnessed another..."TALENT"....Man if you don't believe that a set on Wings are given out everytime a Dylan or Stones song is heard .....you are simply missing the life journey of happiness....Hold the Shield High and move through this film like the other great Scorsese Film...The Last Waltz...(THE BAND)....My best and great music to us all.......THE FILM SHOULD BE PLAYED/VIEWED LOUD!
Respect Your Elders...
I saw this in the theater. I'm not even a big Stones fan, but I loved it. It really illustrates why these guys are still kickin' butt. The Buddy Guy and Christina Aguilera duets are two killer performances. Jagger's proves you don't lose your sexy just because you get some wrinkles. I love the vintage footage of them as young men. I highly recommend this film if you are a Stones fan.
Give me little drink from your loving cup
This movie was worth it, just to see Buddy Guy on stage with the Stones. This film has amazing energy and is truly an incredible look at one of the greatest rock groups of all time. They may be older, but who cares, these guys have the same enthusiasm and ability that they had 30 years ago. Long live the Stones...
