Plot Summary
Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) finally has the girl of his dreams, Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst), and New York City is in the throes of Spider-mania! But when a strange alien symbiote turns Spider-Man's suit black, his darkest demons come to light changing Spider-Man inside as well as out. Spider-Man is in for the fight of his life against a lethal mix of villains - the deadly Sandman (Thomas Haden Church), Venom (Topher Grace), and the New Goblin (James Franco) - as well as the enemy within himself.

Rotten: Aesthetically and conceptually wrung out, fizzled rather than fizzy, this latest installment in the spider-bites-boy adventure story shoots high, swings low and every so often hits the sweet spot, but mostly just plods and plods along.

love spiderman always read and collected the comics as a kid and i thought the first 2 movies really captured the essence of spidey. the inner turmoil coupled with the desire to be good and each movie left me with chills. this one for lack of a better word sucked. the story line and writting was terrible. the lines were just way to corny and the humor was from the 60's. the other 2 were modern and heartfelt and meaningful. this one just a bunch of great effects with no real substance. i hope on the next one they win me over again but i am certainly not looking foward to it after this embarrassment of the spidey saga!

this movie is the best movie ever made better than 1 and 2 but is wish you could buy it instead of renting it
SPIDER-MAN DOES IT AGIAN!
Let me first start out by saying that I am a MAJOR Spider-man fan and LOVE both the original and second movies. But this movie is wayy more action packed with even some comedy incorperated into it and by far the best of the Spidey collection. I dont want to give any parts of the movie away but for those of you who have seen it you must agree that the black spider-man suit, although it's bad, is so awesome looking! Peter and MJ are also the cutest cuple ever and have such a cute love for each other. If you are a true Spier-man fan, then this is so worth the money! Except i'm not sure why you can only rent some movies? Not sure why Itunes does that.Anyways, Go Spidey Go!!!
