Plot Summary
Brennan Huff, a sporadically employed thirty-nine-year-old who lives with his mother, Nancy. Dale Doback, a terminally unemployed forty-year-old who lives with his father, Robert. When Robert and Nancy marry and move in together, Brennan and Dale are forced to live with each other as step brothers. As their narcissism and downright aggressive laziness threaten to tear the family apart, these two middle-aged, immature, overgrown boys will orchestrate an insane, elaborate plan to bring their parents back together. To pull it off, they must form an unlikely bond that maybe, just maybe, will finally get them out of the house.

Rotten: The concept is inherently funny, but the plot grows thin and the laughs grow fewer once the premise is established.
Fresh: Unremittingly juvenile and irredeemably funny.
Rotten: There's a good subject for satire here, the extended adolescence of American kids. But satire presupposes maturity, or at least some perspective.
Fresh: You'll have seen a lot of this before but that won't be a problem for lovers of 'big' comedy and die-hard Ferrell fans.

This is the funniest movie that I have ever seen. Step Brothers is a must see for all comedy lovers!!! This movie is packed with halarious scenes throughout.
Great movie
This movie is my favorite comedy of all time, and if you dont understand the jokes. Its because your not immature enough.

i saw this in theaters and afterwards my sides hurt from laughing so hard.
