Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Taken starts in low gear and almost immediately stalls out.
Rotten: It's fun for about 15 minutes seeing Neeson do James Bond as Daddy Dangerous. But the surprise wears off quickly.
Fresh: With some suspension of disbelief and a strong stomach, it's possible to get taken in, or at least absorbed, by this adrenaline-pumping action thriller.
Fresh: Taken is not the kind of action film to spend much time worrying about its pedestrian script or largely indifferent acting, so it's fortunate to have Neeson in the starring role.
Customer Reviews
I went into this movie with low expectations...
... and ended up being captivated by one of the best Action/Thrillers in recent memory. A definate preorder and under-hyped film that deserves more attention. Hit YES if you agree.
awesome
Liam Neeson is BADASS in his movie!! Just hearing him say those lines: "i don't know who you are.......i will kill you"...AWESOME.
best movie~full of everything you want in an action/adventure movie.
This movie is by far one of the best movies i have seen. Its one of those kind of movies that make you feel how they characters do kind of thing. It has so many action parts and makes you open your eyes. It made me realize how careful you should be when you first meet someone and not to give out to much information. This movie lets you see sex traffiking from a horrifying prospective and makes me realize how that still goes on in some third world countries and thats its so wrong. i never thought about it until this movie. its my favorite movie and everyone should see it!
