Plot Summary
Sandra Bullock, Tim McGraw and Oscar® winner Kathy Bates star in this remarkable true story of All-American football star Michael Oher. Teenager Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron) is surviving on his own, virtually homeless, when he is spotted on the street by Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock). Learning that the young man is one of her daughter's classmates, Leigh Anne insists that Michael—wearing shorts and a t-shirt in the dead of winter—come out of the cold. Without a moment's hesitation, she invites him to stay at the Tuohy home for the night. What starts out as a gesture of kindness becomes much more as Michael becomes part of the Tuohy family despite the differences in their backgrounds. Living in his new environment, the teen faces a completely different set of challenges to overcome. And as the family helps Michael fulfill his potential, both on and off the football field, Michael's presence in the Tuohys' lives leads them to some insightful self-discoveries of their own.

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Its superficiality keeps it from being the moving story it could have been.
Fresh: Ohera(TM)s life is meant to make us feel good, and it mostly does. But how good we feel about his story is proportional to how blind wea(TM)re willing to be about how ita(TM)s told.
Fresh: However obvious, The Blind Side is touching -- despite its habit of dropping major character notes into the melody without warning.
Fresh: We never learn why Leigh Anne is so fearless, but Bullock is the force here. McGraw is an amiable anchor to her bull-by-the-horns portrayal.

Amazing.
The Blind Side is a fanatastic movie and great for the whole family. Very inspirational and nothing wrong with it. Sandra Bullock plays a great role as the mother and Tim McGraw as the Father. Quinton Aaron really captures the role as Michael Oher and does a fanatastic job throughout the whole movie. I really suggest this movie for anyone who loves a great story. Enjoy!
LOVE IT
This movie is nearly perfect! sandra bullock did an amazing job and deserves best actress. The story is uplifting and inspiring...There isnt a lot of football for people not wanting to see it for that reason, the real message of the story isnt about football at all, but rather that if you give, you will recieve.
