Plot Summary
A year after their father’s death, three American brothers who haven’t spoken since the funeral embark on a soul-searching journey across India. Their "spiritual quest", however, veers rapidly off-course and a new, unplanned journey suddenly begins.

Rotten: The Darjeeling Limited, the latest self-satisfied exercise in style over substance from writer-director Wes Anderson, will amuse his cult followers -- as well as Anderson himself and his pals, of course -- but probably nobody else.
Fresh: What this movie has going for itself in spite of its cloying pleas for indulgence is a playful and interesting narrative structure that precludes much development and comes to the fore only toward the end.
Fresh: Brothers and other strangers ride The Darjeeling Limited, Wes Anderson's captivating road movie that views life as a Great Train of Being.
Fresh: The whimsy of it all does a passable job of covering the dull stretches, and the actors, to a one (Bill Murray has a cameo, Anjelica Huston shows up) make it watchable.

Good movie
Not amazing, but a good rental. The characters are very funny to watch, and the movie doesn't have laugh out loud moments but I found myself chuckling to the brothers playing off each other. This movie has some dramatic moments which I thought were good, they didn't overdo everything, and the movie still maintained its quirkyness. I would also like to say I enjoyed the soundtrack as well.
Great Movie!
A must see for those who like movies that are generally good. Overall a masterpiece of Indian art and magnificent acting by Wilson, Brody, and Swartman. Brilliantly done filming. Great plot movement and just a generally great movie. A must see!
Left Speechless
Easily my favorite film of the year. Wes Anderson is a genius and i don't know what else to tell you watche this movie and love it
