Art with heart

It didn’t win an Oscar, but The Door is an amazing short film. So beautiful and haunting. It helps to have a sense of the history of Chernobyl, when people had to pick up and leave their lives on a moment’s notice, never to return. And people today need to know that Chernobyl is not ‘over’ or ‘fixed’. Many experts say the health, environmental, and other problems are just beginning.

This film moved me almost to tears, especially as a parent of a young daughter. Hope you’ll check it out, it’s a real example of art with a conscience. I've seen it already on Vimeo but will gladly pay to own it.

STUNNING movie

Very moving, beautifully done. Nominated for academy award for live short. Better (I think) than the one that won. What happens to the people of Chernobyl after the accident? The children?

Great

It's a very touching story and makes you think about what we have and how we take so much for granted. And it's uses one of the biggest disasters to teach you this life lesson. I love it
