Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: So bad it makes The Notebook look like Casablanca. – Peter Travers, Rolling Stone, Apr 2, 2010

Rotten: For those wondering if the continuing popularity of such exercises might make this one worth the ticket price, the same effect might be achieved by writing names and obstacles (make some tragic) on index cards and tossing them in the air. – Michael Ordona, Los Angeles Times, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: The predictable plot mechanics aren't what make it insufferable. The big problem is Miley Cyrus. – Stephanie Zacharek, Salon.com, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Cyrus is ghastly in The Last Song, bad not just in one or two ways, but in all kinds of ways. It was a disservice to the audience, to the material and to Cyrus herself that she was put in this position. – Mick LaSalle, San Francisco Chronicle, Jun 24, 2010

The Last Song

The Last Song is an excellent moviw for the whole family. I reccomend that everone should see it. It's a very passionate movie that the whole family will love. I reccomend thst you either rent it or buy it. I'm soooo getting it the day it comes out!! It's soooo good!!

Dissappointing

So I read the book that Mr. Spark wrote for Miley to turn into a movie...and LOVED the book, I was so excited that the movie was coming out, could not wait! Well it was so dissappointing. For my friend who had never read the book, was so confused... and hated the way they changed it so much.... And I thought Miley would have been a better actor than that! I thought the boy who played her brother did a very good job, I could actually believe his acting! But wow that was one of the worst movies I have seen!

Shocking

This movie cannot even be considered a movie. The little boy that played Miley Cyrus's little brother was more believable with his acting than Miley was. Miley turned her acting into "Hannah Montana". She acted like the wanna-be rebellious version of Miley Stewart. Her acting was even flatter than Kristen Stewart in Twilight.

The plot itself was completely plain and ordinary. I didn't even cry at all; and I cry easily in movies!!!

I don't recommend this movie to anyone.

I guess people are wondering how Miley is going to do in LOL.
