Customer Reviews
Bad Direction. Joke Ending.
I am going to blame the Writer / Director, Geoff Haley for this mess. Although it is an intriguing story, it was not worked out. Each idea is half-baked. The characters are barely developed. I agree with other reviews, WHAT was the attraction between Abel and Charlotte? There was NO heat. There was almost no moment when I suspended disbelief. Almost every moment was awkward and unbelievable. Maybe it was the fact that the movie had six (6) producers interfering. I. Don't. Know. Wynona Ryder could not have been worse. Wes Bentley was a zombie. I did enjoy the little ending. The ending, funny as it is, has no weight, given the darkness and gravity of the issues being juggled in this film. You can't just run away from those issues with a jokey ending. Can you? Bleh.
The ending was fantastic
I disagree with the previous person, the ending was perfect! The movie at times was a little slow, and overall I definitely wouldn't group this movie in the "comedy" genre but it was pretty great. I would recommend this movie
Interesting concept; didn't drag for me.
Certainly dark, but not morbidly so. It was somewhat slow, but then, I don't really mind that in a movie. My main complaint was that I didn't belive/understand why Evan liked Charlotte. There seemed to be nothing redeeming about their relationship. However, I did really, really love the end.
