Plot Summary
In the gripping thriller "The Lincoln Lawyer," Matthew McConaughey stars as Michael "Mick" Haller, a slick, charismatic Los Angeles criminal defense attorney who operates out of the back of his Lincoln Continental sedan. Having spent most of his career defending petty, gutter-variety criminals, Mick unexpectedly lands the case of a lifetime: defending a rich Beverly Hills playboy (Ryan Phillippe) who is accused of attempted murder. However, what initially appears to be a straightforward case with a big money pay-off swiftly develops into a deadly match between two masters of manipulation and a crisis of conscience for Haller.

Fresh: This is rock-solid entertainment. McConaughey, a cunning mesmerizer in the courtroom, steers this Lincoln into what could be a hell-raising franchise.
Fresh: Just when you thought Matthew McConaughey had settled into pre-retirement content to play the (dry-aged) beefcake in a string of dippy romantic comedies, the actor comes roaring back with some real acting.
Rotten: It has nothing to do with the capital of Nebraska or the former president. While you're watching it, though, you'll wish it did.
Fresh: It's really just a solid courtroom drama, but these days moviegoers should take what they can get.
Customer Reviews
Great movie to go along with a great lead actor!
McConaughey shines as the lawyer, a role that should feel familiar to that of "A Time To Kill(which if you haven't seen, watch it!). The movies paces runs fast and causes you to question everyone. Also good to see Phillippe staring in a serious role in a serious film, he gives something to the character that really makes it come alive. Watch and Enjoy!
