Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Ending well before 9/11, the film may offer a quaint enough portrait of politics as usual at the turn of the new century, though one that hardly seems helpful in the face of the world's new realities. – Dave Kehr, New York Times, Jul 16, 2008

Fresh: Highly entertaining and thought-provoking, but also frustrating -- which, ultimately, might be the point. – Kevin Crust, Los Angeles Times, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: The breadth of subjects covered precludes any response other than nebulous discontent. – Ty Burr, Boston Globe, Nov 4, 2003

Interesting Movie

This movie is interesting. I am not sure that it proves what it is billed to prove, that the republican and democratic parties are the same. But the movie does present a compelling suggestion that the American system is not a caring system. It's a sad commentary on America, a true commentary, a commentary strongly suggesting that the American people as a whole, are a manipulated mass to their detriment. and that neither political party offers them a way out of this sorry situation. It's a movie worth watching and thinking about.

The Party's Over

Utter garbage. Not a single redeeming moment in the whole pathetic mess of a film. Probably among the top 3 worst films I've ever seen.
