Plot Summary
Ken is an inveterate womanizer - unsuccessful, but doggedly persistent. Spying a slender, young lady in a cafe, he follows her to a body image support group meeting. Turns out she's anorexic and bulimic - just his style - and he promptly joins the group. Can he snake his way into the hearts of the suspicious women in the group and get the girl? If he succeeds, will it be worth it?

Refreshingly dark
The filmmakers are clearly not afraid to alienate the female half of the population (not a movie for date night, guys), but in so doing, this is actually pretty funny. At turns grotesque, slapstick and insightful, it is always dark and the main character (Ken) is unabashed with respect to his single-minded approach to women - he is a polarizing character and you either hate him or appreciate him for his commitment to carnal pursuits. No happy endings here - I don't want all my movies like this, but I found this one refreshing.
So funny
I love this movie! I hate how people say its 'offensive' because i've struggled with an eating disorder for as long as i can remember and i dont find this offensive at all. they're not really making fun of the girl with the eating disorder(talia) they're more making fun of Ken and guys like him.
shocked
As someone who has suffered from bulimia, I find this film extremely offensive. I had a close friend who died of anorexia and I find it really hurtful that this disease is being used for comic relief. It is shameful that our culture has sunk to a point so low that potentially life-threatening illnesses are considered humorous.
