Plot Summary
Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, founders of the online site Funny or Die and the guys behind some of the most raucous comedies produced today are always on the lookout for new talent and they have found it with The Virginity Hit. This movie is down and dirty filmmaking at its finest in just about every way one can imagine. It’s four guys, one camera, and their hilarious experience chronicling the exhilarating and terrifying rite of passage: losing your virginity. As these guys help their buddy get laid, they’ll have to survive friends with benefits, internet hookups, even porn stars during an adventure that proves why you will always remember your first.

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Unfortunately, the things that can be funny and even liberating in a movie like American Pie end up looking coarse and slightly depressing in the scripted pseudoreality of The Virginity Hit.
Rotten: Equal parts bold experiment (in sustaining a YouTube aesthetic for an entire film), and shallow redux of well-worn teenage sex comedy tropes.
Rotten: This Web-inspired Superbad rip-off is simply super bad.
Rotten: Essentially the first feature-length YouTube video.
Customer Reviews
Dear Will Ferrell
Me: In what alternate reality do cute girls get it on with high school Jew nerds?
Will: "In the alternate reality of my movie."
Me: That was rhetorical, Will. There is no reality in which this would ever happen--ever.
Will: "Jew nerds have sex."
Me: Yes. With Asian women. When they're like 30.
Will: "It's just a movie!"
Me: YOU'RE JUST A MOVIE!
P.S. To the people who keep complaining about my use of "Jew" being offensive; open a book: any scholarly text speaking of the Jewish people refers to them as Jews, you ignorant illiterates. Honestly: who goes out of there way to complain to iTunes about such a clearly playful and benign review? Uptight nonentities who compensate for all their failures with arbitrary emotional investments that do not alter the world one iota.
Weak
If you like watching unattractive, privileged kids make an unoriginal film, then this is for you.
terrible
truly awful. the comedy is nonexistent, it's very dull and boring for long stretches, every single character is entirely unlikable, and the circumstances and actions are completely unbelievable. I was genuinely interested in this movie before I saw it, but it ended up being just terrible. stay away, and definitely don't pay money for this, I'm glad I didn't.
