Plot Summary
Kristen, early 20’s, wakes to find herself bruised, cut, drugged and held against her will in a remote ward of a psychiatric hospital. She is disoriented and has no idea why she was brought to this place. The other patients, four equally troubled girls, offer no answers and Kristen quickly realizes things are not as they seem. At night, she becomes aware of a ghostly presence. It appears they are not alone. One-by-one the other girls begin to disappear and Kristen must find a way out of this hellish place before the ghost comes for her too. As she struggles to escape, she will uncover a truth far more dangerous and horrifying than anyone could have imagined.

Rotten: Continues the painful decline of a director who seems more nostalgic for past glories than excited about new ideas.

Interesting to say the least....
John Carpenter did a decent job on his latest. A well rounded cast, an interesting script, brief nudity and gore of course made this watchable. The Ward has been done before, but its not a bad thing in this films case. It had a classic sense about it, and a decent twist. Rent this for a late night movie when you just want to relax without thinking to much, you wont be dissapointed.
John Carpenter is Back!!
John Carpenter is back and it's like he never left! Beautiful use of the widescreen format, floating camera moves, and terrific build of tension are all here. Terrific acting and a nice twist make it all payoff nicely. John Carpenter's best is The Thing, but this is a solid effort and I hope we don't have to wait 11 years for the next one from this amazing filmmaker. Welcome back Mr. Carpenter!
Great movie.
This movie was one of the best john carpenter movie I've seen since halloween.
