The most informative piece on cannabis you will ever see
I recently came across "The Union: The Business Behind Getting High" back in mid June.
I was never very big on documentaries but I wanted to learn so much more about weed, and I heard great things about it.
A few minutes in, I was completely captured. As the movie went by, I was hoping that it would just go on longer.
Easily THE best documentary I've ever seen, and one of the most informative movies you can find. If you want to learn about hemp, marijuana, the War on Drugs, the effects of cannabis, and so much more, this is the must go to movie.
I've watched it twice, about to watch it a third time. Absolutely worth every penny and more.
This movie is jaw-droppingly revealing
What a revealing exposé about the huge Marijuana industry. Without pontificating a pro-legalization too strongly, the message is clear: 1) You'll never get rid of the industry 2) By simply naming it "Medical" the whole paradigm shifts to legitimate, and 3) most of the crime and danger is involved in protecting revenue. The obvious conclusion is if was legal, and taxed, the crime would disappear. This film explores and illustrates why politicizing the topic has been so appealing to government officials. If you go into this film with an open mind (as you should) you'll still come away with an obvious conclusion, and that's where the entertainment value of the film lies. This is a film that should be seen by all.
One of the greatest documentaries of all time
The Union has got to be one of the greatest documentaries of all time. The absolute best doc on cannabis and most well rounded in my opinion. You can't go wrong with this one.
