Plot Summary

Fresh: The first essential surf movie since Riding Giants.
Fresh: The sensational footage of surfers barrelling through 50ft waves provides most of the appeal. But Joel Conroy's documentary is full of scrapbook curios.
Rotten: Although the action footage is impressive, it becomes repetitive, exposing the rest of the movie as something of a ragbag. Surfing fans may be more enthused.

Unreal.
Amazing footages of the surfers in the water. It's crazy what athletes are capable of. This film has made me appreciate athletes' talents and their abilities. It takes strength, endurance, perseverance, courage, and a lot of self-motivation for what they do. The movie captures the essence of the surfers' purpose and what keeps their passion on going.
