Plot Summary
MTV News calls it "Controversial…candid…revealing." Death Row Records exploded onto the music scene in 1993 with a 'Gangster Rap' sound that took the world by storm. Yet its unprecedented success with stars such as Dr. Dre, Snoop Doggy Dogg and Tupac, quickly unraveled in a firestorm of rivalries, greed, violence and scrutiny by the government and the media as CEO Marion "Suge" Knight's unconventional business practices increasingly mirrored the violent, hard-edged themes of its music.

Death Row Falled Apart when Dre left, and 2pac dead. But without Death Row we would not h ave know Snoop.

very informative. just sort of confusing. very good !
"Death Row is the label that pays meeh...."
If you were a Dre, Snoop, Pac, Tha Dogg Pound, N.W.A fan, this movie is a must for you and it really goes into detail as to how this fierce west coast empire blew into the music industry. Death Row Records pave the way for all these other independent record labels you hear of now. They were the ones who almost put Def Jam Records out of business. A great buy for you hip hop heads out there. Alot of surprises as to what you might not have known about this record company. And it's Death Row!! Ain't nuttin but a g' thang baay bay! ;)
