If you want to see a band that is serious about writing, playing and recording music, you can stop here. And if you still aren't convinced that a band can be that serious, watch the previews to all their videos, it's about one thing, the music. Intelligently written, played and performed, The National in my opinion are a few guys with really high IQs. The lyrics, the tempo changes, everything about this band is just so damn smart. Turn you're mates onto these guys, you'll appear all the wiser. Or better yet, take them to a live National show, they'll simply energize you! One of a very few bands that actually make you smarter for listening to them.
