I seen Brett in Iraq.....
He put on a great show and it's because of celebrities like him that the troops keep their heads up high and continue doing the right thing, freeing the Iraqi people. Even since America didn't vote in the best candidate, I still believe we will stay in Iraq until the job is complete. Why waste our time, money, and soldiers' lives and then not finish the job?
A good heart...
My son is one of the guys featured in the photo of Bret and the band at Al Asad...my son later died, and Bret added that photo, as well the other two of my son and his friend playing guitars. It was a kind thing for him and the band to do - thank you to the drummer - and it still brings a smile and great deal of joy to our family that my son, whose nickname was Rock Star, continues to "live on" in the video. And thank you Bret and Band, for volunteering your music and time to our men and women in uniform so far from home.
