Too much editing
The full length version of this video is great. Creepy and dark and it makes you think. But this edited version loses a lot of the power and meaning behind the video.
It's still worth buying. Mew is nothing if not consistent in their art. It's still as amazing as anything else they've ever released- and thought provoking as ever.
I do wish iTunes would release the complete, unedited version. When they do, I'm snatching it up.
Always Interesting
This is an amazing video. Thought-provoking, unique, and meaningful, just like everything else Mew releases. Unlike many other popular artists, Mew wants you to think when you watch their videos and listen to their music, to think and feel and be *moved*. And if you give it a chance, you will be.
I only wish iTunes had released the full version of this video. The storyline is chopped up in this version. But even with that change, this is still one of the best videos Mew has ever released, and certainly one of the best videos I've seen this year.
And if iTunes ever chooses to release the full version (and I hope they will), I'll buy it immediately. Mew deserves as much support as they can get - and I can watch this video over and over again. It is just that beautiful.
