D.O.A. (death of autotune)

This video is absolutely brilliant!!! The King of NYC does it again!! One line says it all, "too much t-paining". The video is straight to the point. I love the grittiness of the presentation. The cinematographer should be hailed for his/her use of harsh lighting and tight composition. The brief exchange of words between Jay-Z and Harvey Keitel (Pulp Fiction) during the gambling vignette was a stroke of genius. Kudos to the director. Brilliant! Simply Brilliant!!...G'Licks.

This is Hot!

I agree total with this message. Rappers need to get back to just plan skills! No sound effects on the vocals please. Rapping was always exciting because the average person couldn't do it. Autotune makes it possible for everyone to sound like T-Pan, Kanye and Lil Wayne. Oh yeah the tight pants look is wack! Rappers starting look like PUNK artist. All the real rappers please keep doing your thang. Jay-Z thank you.

The truth

The message is real. Where's all the real hip-hop. In his words "get back to rappin you T-paining too much.
