Never again.
Let me begin by saying that my headphones actually committed suicide... So thanks for that Ms. Cosgrove, you owe me a new pair of Bose.
Beyond that, she's retreated into the depths of talentlessness with autotune - and don't give me the "not her choice" c**p, because even if it wasn't her choice, she still could have stopped it. Them there's the lyrics, so shallow and simple I'm surprised that they weren't written by Ke$ha. The video is a pointless montage. The sound, in total, feels sloppy. If my generation had any sense, we would stop this madness. Too bad my generation is chock- full of brainless fad zombies.
Half star for not making me have to download it. Another half because she's quite an attractive young woman.
Notice how neither of those are merits for the song.
A Note To All Willing To Read~
Oh Miranda.... how you have changed- in a bad way.
This song was originally written for Ke$ha to sing, and I'm soo happy that Miranda decided to take it into her own hands and mix it up and put her own flair into it but.... just the way she sings it gets annoying. (Does anyone else realize that she says "doncing" instead of "dancing"?) The song itself is a total hot mess- catchy beats, her nice voice, it all sounds perfect until you add the lyrics!!! Ahhh the lyrics to this song are horrendous!! If you think that this is the peak of Miranda's talent, than what do you suppose "Kissin U" is? I love that song, and it gets stuck in my head even now, after it came out MONTHS AGO!
On an additional note, the video has Miranda "doncing crazy" on a football field... really? Why in the world would the director put them on a football field?? And the whole video is pretty much her headshots singing- on a football field, once again. Unappealing to us girls who want a story out of a music video, not just Miranda "doncing crazy" (which isn't even crazy dancing) in overly priced clothes with a bunch of random "attractive" guys.
If this is Miranda's idea of good music, she needs a reality check.
Miranda- if you're out there, please please please don't dissapoint your die-hard fans with crappy Ke$ha music. Your voice DOES NOT need autotuning, hun! Be yourself, be original, and seriously- go back to decent pop-ish songs like "Kissin U" and "About You Now". Give your fans something THEY WANT!
Amazing
Love the song, love the video. She's incredibly GORGEOUS and has a BEAUTIFUL voice.
