Such a heartwarming song! I feel greaved and comforted all at once when I hear this. "Disarm" is a masterpiece!!! I actually saw the band perform this in July in Richmond. Billy was asking for song requests and I shouted "Disarm" at the top of my lungs, and they actually played it!!! One of the greatest moments of my life!!! <3 Classic video to add to your collection <3 very rad how it seems that the band members are flying over a city! :)

Of all the major alternative rock bands of the early '90s, Smashing Pumpkins were the group least influenced by traditional underground rock. Lead guitarist/songwriter Billy Corgan fashioned an amalgam of progressive rock, heavy metal, goth rock, psychedelia, and dream pop, creating a layered, powerful sound driven by swirling, distorted guitars.
