Customer Reviews

no one knows

Trust me, no one should say anything if you havent actually been there and served. Not this song or any song, or any poem will ever tell how it really is or how it really feels. As a soldier, this song is offending, but for differant reasons than most, and so are all these review posts..

It's not badmouthing soldiers

The whole point of the video, and likewise the song, was to portray the horrible descisions that a soldier has to make, to show how the mistakes they may have made will haunt them, tainting them for the rest of their lives. War is horrible, and the crimes that are committed there are not always the fault of the soldier, and those simple mistakes can lead to a lifetime of torment. Great Song, Great Video. Anybody with ANY respect for human suffering will forgive a soldier of their sins, as they suffer the memories of all of their past mistakes, and likewise any soldier worth his weight in salt will oppose war, because war is never the answer.

political video

Ok song, ok video, seen these guys in concert and they are great! As a veteran, serving in the military is not a mistake but how a government uses the military is sometimes a mistake. The soldiers need a pat on the back, the government needs a boot in the *@%!!!
