other version is better!

i saw the other version of this video on yahoo... my computer messed up on the last minute or so but i thought the animals were pretty cool and i really wanted to buy it. i came on itunes and i saw the wedding preveiw and i thought maybe somehow the last part that i missed turned into a wedding??? i bought it and watched it and realized it wasnt the same video at all!!! i dont like this video, it doesnt fit with the song. I really wish itunes could put up the other video if possible, i would really like to have that video!

Bring Out The Other Version

I hate this version. The one with the animals is the ONLY version worth purchasing. They need to put that one up instead.

The video really fits the music. I think it was very artistic. The Mexican wedding scenario is about two young people making that lasting commitment to each other and achieving that paradise that we all would like to have. I think there might be a theme underneath it that has to do with the illegal immigrant issue, where people try to come to America to share in the American dream, a big wedding (being successful), buying a house (the one behind the band), having children (the kids playing). The song is a little idealistic (On an island in the sun, having fun, a place to call our own, we'll run away together). But that's how young people think when they're in love. The animal video was okay, but it was boring.
