The Gospel in a relationship
This is song that comes straight out of Ephesians 5:22-33. The wife looks to the husband as the husband looks to Christ. That is called being a spiritual leader. And that's the best part, a husband and wife is a metaphor for Christ and the church. A metaphor that goes all the way back to Genesis! No other song catches this relationship as well as this song. Thank you so much Sanctus Real for writing a song that speaks into what a Godly husband and a Godly relationship is supposed to look like. It IS the real Gospel.
The Right Kind of Video
Sanctus Real has a habit of making godly, relationship-themed ballads, and this is their best one yet! Lead singer, Matt Hammitt has molded his own story into this song, allowing people to relate to its call for Jesus Christ's guidance. Watch it, and see if it doesn't affect you or remind you of somebody else in your life needing His guidance. I wish there were more videos like this one out there.
