Walk the Talk

The National do just that. If you're going walk the walk, talk the talk. No flash. The National have no use for it. Their songs, and this song, Lit Up (a very fine place to start), is the fastest tempo in their arsenal, just deliver. You'd be surprised to know just how much energy this band delivers live. Much the same as Pearl Jam. Their songs are so well written, both musically and lyrically, they simply let their music to the talking. If you haven't had much exposure to The National. Be the hip one of your mates. You'll not only appear cooler, but more intelligent as well. Because this is one incredibly intelligent group of musicians. To start your collection, "their Self-Titled", "Boxer" or "Alligator" is a great place to begin. But in reality, flip a coin, all their albums are 5 stars hands down. Their newest is just as amazing as their first.
