This is a classic would love to see more "Ready for the World" 80's video's

They really just don't make music like this anymore......RFTW had soooo many great slow jams that no one ever heard. (Tonight, Gently, It's All a Game, etc etc)
the best song I have ever heard
Even though this song came out before my time I gotta say this is one the best r&b songs I have ever heard. I wish they made songs like this today..

A Michigan funk band with slight rock leanings, Ready for the World parlayed Melvin Riley's whining vocals and some trendy production into a pair of number one R&B hits in the mid-'80s for MCA. Riley, Gordon Strozier, Gregory Potts, Willie Triplett, John Eaton, and Gerald Valentine began on their own Blue Lake label before signing with MCA.
