Customer Reviews

Really, Really Fantastic.

After the large, fat, black iPod came into my posession, I thought it best to utilize all of its functions. I wanted to see how the video quality was on the thing, so I knew the best thing to do would be to purchase a music video. BUT WHICH ONE? I went through the varitable list inside of my head (... and, and on my facebook) of my favorite musicians and groups, and decided I'd give Feist a try... I wasn't aware if she had a video out or not. AND MUSHABOOM IS FANTASTIC. The wide screen touch is a nice one, and adds to the already incredibly artistic feel of the video. There is nothing to dislike about this video, and everything to enjoy. If you'd like to buy a video, but just CAN'T DECIDE, this is the one for you. Maybe? I'm not sure. I ... I don't really know you. All Right!! -Jordan.

Future's Done

This video is simply magic. Beautiful, fondly written and poetic - Feist fits perfectly within it. Knowing and a fan of Broken Social Scene, I had never discovered her incredible art until recently. Feist is a warm and friendly dream, as though anyone hearing her precious voice is suddenly discovering they themselves are from Mushaboom - or wishing they were :-). I adore the circles she draws as a knecklace on her chest, it's as though you're seeing what she's singing - "I'm s-o-o-O-O-o-o-ld." It's very simple, we're all sold by the end of this song.

Lub it so...

Feist is excellent, great vocals and originality. Unique.

Born Leslie Feist in Amherst, Nova Scotia, singer/songwriter Feist relocated to Calgary at a young age and got her start playing in an all-girl punk band named Placebo (not to be confused with the U.K. modern rock act of the same name). After winning a battle-of-the-bands contest, Placebo (whose members were still in high school) played their first gig opening for the Ramones in 1991, and for the next five years, Feist sharpened her rock & roll ways alongside her bandmates.
