Good Stuff
I like this video a lot more than Arcade Fire's others, which are all antique animations reminiscent of animated Monty Python clips. The 1st review hit it head on. Tim Burton + Arcade Fire... very good video.
Finally, a good animated music video of 2006
I like this video a lot. From the style of the characters, the style of the city, the timing, the shading, even the light and dark aspect to the music video. The snow effects were nice, and the anti-heroism of the "boys" were something to behold. It goes great with the song. This is going on my favorites list
You ain't foolin' nobody with the lights out
I love Arcade Fire. I love this video. The animation and effects fit the song perfectly. If you like this, also check out the video for "So Says I" by The Shins. It's in the same style and features communist penguins.
