not too bad...

i'm not really a music video fan, nor was i pleased to hear my favorite band was starting to make them a few years ago, but the video for 'porcelain heart' isn't half bad, very typical, but not too shabby. the main problem is that they did edit about out about three minutes of the song to make it video friendly... and if you're a fan of opeth, you know that and 8 minute movement can't be done it 5, just doesn't really work. but if you're a fan of heavy music but prefer shorter songs, or pictures to describe the metaphors that make music beautiful, you'll probably like this video more than i did... hey, one of the girls in it is pretty smokin'. there's another plus.

Great Video From Opeth... but...

Get the full song instead. This is an excellent video with some excellent direction for a music video and I would of course expect nothing less from Opeth. But, I would personally get the song as there is a full 3 minutes extra that is left out in the video for time saving reasons. Plus, the sound quality in the actual track alone is higher than that of the video. Don't get me wrong, if you want the video, by all means, get it. But, if you want to thouroughly enjoy this masterpeice from Opeth, stick with the song. By the way, Watershed is going to be unbeleivable and I would expect nothing less from Opeth. They are probably the best, if not most consistently excellent, band in metal right now!
