After becoming a absolute fan of monster magnet when the powertrip record was released I got a ticket to see them at the troubador in Los Angeles during the God Says No tour.on my way there it dawned on me that they may be another of those bands that you go see live after digggin there studio recordings only to be dissapointed at how bad they are in person and not able to sound or play anywhere near as well as the record.fortunately that wasn't the case.these guys f*ckin smoked live and it was a great show.
